OUR HIRING PROCESS
Our Hiring process is straightforward. When we receive your application, one of our experienced team will contact you to discuss your eligibility to practice medicine in Ireland.
A video interview will also be arranged with one of our recruiter GP Doctors, who will want to understand your skills and experience as well as your career aspirations and personal goals.
Our recruiter doctors are veterans of the Irish Healthcare system having worked for many years as GP Doctors themselves, so this is an opportunity for you to get practical insights into working as a doctor in Ireland.

Complete Interview
Once we receive your CV, we'll arrange for an Irish GP to video interview you at a time that suits you.
The interview will last 30-45 minutes and will help our recruitment team match your skills, experience and preferences to open roles.
We will then advise you of legal accreditation requirements to practice in Ireland and support you through the process.
Before offering you a job, we will also ask you for 2 written references, one from a recent employer if possible.
When you accept your new job with Locumotion, we ensure all your paperwork is complete and assist you with any relocation service required.
Before starting your new job, we will arrange for you to attend our Head Office, Dublin, Clinical and Administrative onboarding programme day. Here, your placement coordinator will introduce you to the Locumotion Team and your fellow medical colleagues also starting in their new jobs. It is a time to network, ask any questions we haven't already answered and make final preparations for your new career move.
