In order to be eligible to work as a Consultant/Hospital Specialist Locum in Australia, you must apply directly to the appropriate Specialist College who evaluate and register specialists to practice medicine in Australia.
How to go about registering with an Australian Specialist College and Medical Board
The registration process is divided into two stages. The first stage is to get your qualifications validated by the appropriate Australian Specialist College. For information on each relevant Specialist College and how to register, please see below:
