Locumotion Registrar Jobs & SHO Jobs provides 6 and 12 month long hospital placements for Non Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs) at Senior House Officer SHO Jobs and Registrar Jobs in the Republic of Ireland. The hospital rotations for NCHDs begin in the second week of January and July each year. Locumotion could also facilitate shorter term contracts in between times. Locumotion has been a provider of medical recruitment services to the Health Service Executive of the Republic of Ireland for over ten years.
In order to work in the Republic of Ireland, it is a requirement for all Doctors to be registered with the Irish Medical Council. Locumotion will assist you with all of your paperwork including that for registering with the Irish Medical Council and visa requirements.

Minimum requirements for Non Consultant Hospital Doctors
If you want to work with Locumotion as a Non Consultant Hospital Doctor, we require:
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience
- IMC registration or eligibility for general registration
- Fluent English – a language certificate will be an advantage
- Conformity certificate – required if you graduated before your country joined the EU
