Locumotion is an innovative doctor-led Medical Recruitment Agency based in the Rockfield Medical Campus in Dublin, Ireland. Our ethos is to provide a quality global hospital & general practice recruitment service that meets the needs of our hospital and General Practice customers as well as those of our medical locum colleagues.
In accordance with our philosophy, we hope that in providing excellence in medical recruitment services our company will assist in achieving an enhanced quality of life for the medical community.
Locumotion was launched at the Irish College of General Practitioners annual conference on May 13th 2000. We are now the leading provider of medical recruitment services in Ireland with over 40% of GP practices registered with the company. The Health Service Executive of Ireland has established Locumotion as the preferred medical recruitment service in providing Junior Doctors and Consultants to hospitals in Ireland. More recently we have expanded into the UK, Australia and South Africa.
The recruitment of the doctors for our service is now taking place within Ireland, the EU, Australia & New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and America.
Locumotion is part of a larger Irish healthcare company called Centric Health which operates in Ireland, the UK and Australia.
We continue to place a number of our locums as urgent care locums in the Vhi SwiftCare Clinic, in The Well – a dedicated Executive Medical Health Screening practice located in the Beacon Consultants Clinic, in The Well at Work – an occupational health service provider and in Global Diagnostics - a leading provider of healthcare diagnostics services.
